Arapaho Basin is holding the 32nd Annual Enduro on April 14th. It’s a 4- course sit down meal prepared by A-Basin's chef. There’ll be wagu beef, and chocolate lava cake on the menu. Buffalo Mountain Storage will be rocking out with Krystal 93 and C-Rock on April 17th from 11am to 1pm. There’ll be a drawing for 6 months free storage at an 800 dollar value. Krystal Media’s Music at the Summit welcomes live local music at Bakers Brewery in Silverthorne! Wednesday April 9 it’s Lisa White and Leon Littlebird playing from 4:20 to 6pm. Then on Thursday April 10 it’s Earl Clairmont and Ryan Emmett. Music at the Summit is sponsored by Bakers Brewery, Greers Appliance and Mountain Comfort Furnishings.  

Building Hope Summit County has some great events this week for anyone 12 to 20.  Wednesday, April 9, at 3pm  it’s cross-country skiing... and at 5pm  it’s axe throwing.  Both events are in Breckenridge! These are great free events to help make connections in Summit County. FIRC is offering a new dial in program for health insurance for those who missed the health insurance open enrollment period in 2020.  Colorado has re-opened enrollment through May 15, 2021 and is for anyone without insurance. FIRC’s health navigators can help you find coverage that best fits your budget and your needs. Colorado’s own radio show, eTown will celebrate its 30th anniversary by being inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame. The induction will take place on Earth Day – April 22nd – 30 years to the day from the show’s 1991 launch. Congrats to Nick and Helen Forster and the entire eTown team… catch e-Town on Krystal 93 every Thursday night at 7pm

The Family Intercultural Resource Center is encouraging anyone in need during COVID-19 to access their food pantries as often as needed. Using their food resources can save a family as much as $350 in groceries a month—that can be used for housing costs. Krystal Media and Alpine Bank want to reward your child for good grades! It’s the “Pays for A’s” program... Just take a copy of your child’s most recent school report card to any Alpine Bank near you. Alpine Bank will draw winning reports cards and award cash to the students with good grades, and we’ll announce the winners on Krystal 93. You can also e-mail the report cards to paysforas@alpinebank.com. The next deadline to enter report cards is June 30.

Building Hope is launching a Volunteer Peer Support Program! It’s community-based and staffed by non-professional, skilled volunteers who are trained to make referrals to mental wellness resources, and foster healthy, meaningful connections. Summit County trails are open and you can give back to your local forest by purchasing a tax-deductible Friends of the Dillon Ranger District membership. It’s a great opportunity to give back to our local forest, get details and become a member at FDRD-dot-org.
