September 26, 27:  Krystal 93 has one on one interviews with the leaders of our local ski areas—what'll be different this season, what the challenges and successes have been.  Tune into Krystal 93 at 9am and 3pm on to hear about A-Basin's outlook. 

Krystal 93 invites you to check out the Centura Health COO Breakfast on Thursday, October 15th presented by the Summit Chamber. Hear from the Chief Operating Officers from our 5 local ski areas and get a shot at some great items in the on-line auction. You can get tickets to that virtual event at 2020COOBreakfast-dot-com.  

September 29: Building Hope Summit County offers some great classes and are offering a unique online workshop called the Mindful Man. The class offers practical ways to deal with stress, create healthy relationships and achieve your goals. It's from 6pm to 7:30pm... men can register at buildinghopesummit.org.  

September 30: It’s the Wild Wednesday Jam at Bakers Brewery-- listen to the local trio, Mud Season. The fun starts at 7pm. Thanks to Greers Appliance and Mountain Comfort Furnishings for sponsoring Music at the Summit.

CENSUS:

Your community needs you... for Summit County census reporting. Census data determines how billions of dollars in federal funds get distributed—for health care, school lunch programs, disaster recovery... go to 2020census-dot-gov to fill out your information... to help our community get the resources it deserves.    

FDRD HELP:

Summit County trails are open and you can give back to your local forest by purchasing a tax-deductible Friends of the Dillon Ranger District membership. It’s a great opportunity to give back to our local forest, get details and become a member at FDRD-dot-org. 

SILVERTHORNE REC CENTER:

The Silverthorne Recreation Center is now open! The Silverthorne Recreation Center is offering a variety of fall programming, from adult fitness to kids after school programs. Join the Silverthorne recreation center for fun and safe programs like swim lessons, skateboarding, volleyball and a new outdoor adventures program! Learn more at silverthorne.org.

 

HELP THE ROTARY CLUB OF SUMMIT COUNTY:

The Rotary Club of Summit County is raffling tickets to win a brand-new Ford Escape or 14 thousand dollars. The Rotary Club has upped their local grant offerings from 15 to 25 thousand dollars, and they just donated 50 thousand dollars to FIRC.
